The Forbidden Fruit Series of images explores stories, myths and legends featuring objects which have achieved an exalted, taboo status. The deliciousness of the colour and the sensual line work allude to the forbidden knowledge one may receive by partaking of certain types of 'forbidden' fruit. The avocado image is inspired by Mayan and Aztec legends from Mexico; the avocado is also sacred to the West African Yoruba Orisha Ellegua.

Shipping and Import information:
All works are professionally packaged to ensure the art arrives to you in perfect condition.
This print is shipped flat-packed in heavyweight cardboard and masonite, and is encased in shrink wrap to prevent water damage. Works are shipped fully insured, with FedEx for international orders and with a professional art courier within Germany. A tracking number is provided. Upon request, I can ship in a heavy-duty tube- to some destinations this may be cheaper than shipping flat-packed.
All prints come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, describing in detail how the print was made, and guaranteeing that the work is an original, hand-made print (as opposed to a reproduction of a painting or drawing). This is particularly useful for insurance purposes.
All prints bear 'chop marks', embossed into the lower corners of the paper. These are the emblems of both the artist and of the workshop where the image was printed, and are further guarantees of quality.
PAPERS CERTIFYING THE SHIPMENT AS AN ORIGINAL WORK OF ART ARE ALSO PROVIDED; THESE ALLOW FOR DUTY-FREE IMPORT INTO MANY COUNTRIES.
Lightfast inks on archival, 250g french cotton rag paper.
