On a foggy morning I woke to the sound of foghorns on the Clyde. I looked out and saw that the sun was trying to break through the thick fog and the colours were so incredible I rushed out in my pyjamas to get this shot. This is a long exposure which makes the sea go silky smooth. The distant town of Gourock reminds me of Brigadoon in that old movie with Gene Kelly as it appears and disappears in the mist.
