Original artwork description:

With the start of a new college semester, I am once again forced to refocus my time management to fit everything into place. This seems like a task that would require a tremendous amount of meditation, for no human being can accomplish everything, every time, perfectly. When faced with relatively large amounts of stress I tend to hide away and paint. It is my form of meditation so to say. But yet I am largely envious to monks around the world. Their control of the mind is something that is inexplicable. They spend years studying, learning, and practicing the methods. although I personally do not have the time for that commitment, Id like to think that I learn something about this ancient powerful technique in my painting of this young child striving for this power.

Materials used:

Grumbacher Oil Paint, Canvas
