Inspired by spring blooms here is a recent piece to add to my collection...
My butterfly friendly take on the collectors butterfly specimen boxes.

These are hand cut butterflies from floral imagery printed onto photographic paper. I have floated them on little plinths to create wonderful shadows. I adore the way they appear to flutter and move as the light changes. The touch of 24crt gold leaf on the antennae tips glistens and sparkles in the light and adds a precious touch to the piece. It comes in a solid wooden white box frame with a silver glitter inlay to further add sparkle and define the piece.

Fully framed with Plexiglas XT 0A000 manufactured by Rohm. This material is the highest quality available and offers approximately 7 times more UV protection than glass and is shatter proof. Comes ready to hang, wrapped with certificate of authenticity.
