Divine flower. A bouquet of lilies is a royal bouquet. No wonder he was considered the flower of kings. And many crowned persons used it as their symbol. In the Middle Ages, it was an indispensable attribute of almost all holidays; it was used to decorate the throne and the coats of arms of ancient cities. The lily, so similar to the crown, became part of the coat of arms of the French kings, and many of the coats of arms of royal houses and noble families have its symbolic image.
The beauty and tenderness of lilies for many centuries have inspired painters to create magnificent paintings of various genres.
Lily is an ancient symbol of purity, sincerity, and noble birth. However, few people know that the bouquet of these beauties is a universal way to tell about loyalty and deep love.
The painting depicts standing snow-white lilies, shaded by a contrasting dark background of small bluebells and rich dark foliage. The luminous white of the luxurious lilies is eye-catching. The gentle light of the sun leaving the horizon romantically highlights the depth of the flower with highlights and reflexes, making the white petals almost transparent.
