Original artwork description:

Part of my series of mixed media harbour paintings.
The little fishing hut, or net store, at Mullion Cove in Cornwall is still in use today and makes a wonderful subject for a painting! I love the combination of textures in this scene, the little stone hut, the shingle beach, the lobster pots and the craggy cliffs. I've used a combination of collaged papers on which to create my surface - tissue paper, handmade papers and newsprint. I've used a limited palette of siennas, greys and blue acrylic paints, oil pastel and acrylic inks and applied them with mostly with pieces of card or sponge as opposed to brushes to give an interesting texture of surface.
This painting is sold framed in a plain solid oak frame and a warm-white double mount.
All my pictures are signed originals and will be sent to you carefully wrapped and insured during transit. There is a 14 day return and refund option if you are not completely happy for any reason with your picture when it arrives. Import duties, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer (but usually not applicable). My paintings have been purchased by buyers all around the world, including Australia, USA and France.
