Artist's description:

The High Desert of Central Oregon sees snow each year as a welcome visitor, bringing tourists to ski and preparing the mountains for the Spring snowmelt that feed water to the thirsty desert that sees little rainfall. The lush volcanic farmland of the area drinks in the falling snow until, relenting, the land accepts the blankets that cover the miles of farmland.

masonite, Gesso and acrylics
