Original artwork description:

The effect of the black dripped paint from the top over the blue and orange dotted wash creates a curtain in front of the model that we peer through. It's not always comfortable when a model sits or in this case lies down for a pose. The elbows can go numb if leaned on. Knees stacked up can be heavy going. Add to that a tough day of work and the head in the hands is screaming I'm not happy. This model did have the menstrual blues.

Watercolour and black ink pen on white watercolour paper, 51 x 41 cm (c. 20 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

Materials used:

watercolour, ink
