Artwork description:
Just behind here a sign reads “Unsuitable for motor vehicles”. Unsuitable is a familiar word to my ear. Because I can't stand violence, cruelty or surgical detail, my children would filter my television viewing by declaring something “unsuitable”. I know it's supposed to be the other way around but I think things work best when we just try to help each other along.
This is an original letterpress print pulled from rubber matrices. The sheet would fit straight into a 12 x 16 inch frame. The image is approx. 8 x 10½ inches with a 2 inch border around with some extra at the foot. All materials used are of high quality.
