'Evening Light, Hove Allotments'

An artist friend of mine has an allotment in Hove and kept raving about how beautiful the scenery was and had painted there several times himself. Intrigued, I came along and found it quite an inspiring experience. Nestled within a sea of foliage was this shed and netted cage which I liked the colours of. There is a repeating pattern of vertical lines throughout the piece which I felt contrasted nicely against the soft greenery around.
