In this piece, I try to capture sea mists that move across the water as nigh falls.
The pastel shades of the evening sky, soften the horizon of the landscape beautifully.
My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies and the many changes the light can make to the atmosphere of a painting - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
I study the skies and land over the Cheshire plain, close to my home and also the coastal skies over Anglesey, North Wales,
