Original artwork description:

Rearing.
This sculpture is part of a series which are looking at the stride of the horse and logging the stance on or in between the beats of the Four Beat Gallop. I want to make the whole series comprise of around 24 sculptures on or between the Four Beat Gallop and through a horse jumping.
The rearing horse rears in fear or as is pet through the process of leaping with the horses two rear hoofs on the ground.
Equus Ferus, translates to Wild horse. It was an opportunity I couldn't resist .... Ferrous means iron; So what we have here is a Wild, Iron, Horse.

Materials used:

Mild steel
