The English countryside and its cottages are loved by one and all! It's mostly because they have been featured on the books for kids, especially the nursery rhymes!

What we see and love in our childhood leave a deep impression on us and we continue to cherish these memories. I can never forget the colorful Italian marble flooring in my grandfather's ancestral mansion with a bulky fan squeaking 24 hours day in the hall; under which we cousins used to play indoor games when the outdoor boiled in the sweltering summer heat! Now the mansion is gone and an ugly multi-storey apartment is standing in the very same compound where from the many trees we used to pluck luscious mangoes and mouthwatering mega jackfruits to eat and enjoy! Gone are those days, what remains with me in my mind are just memories which I will carry forever in my soul's journey going forward!

I came across some cottage images and I thought of giving them a try with watercolours on paper!
