  I've got some things going on in my life that require a lot of emotional strength. And I'm wishing that someone close to me was emotional stronger. I've been called 'hard', 'tough', and sometimes cruel. I think they mistake my emotional toughness sometimes.
  
  This is a textured mixed media painting made with acrylic paint, salt, ink, and lacquer on paper. I've written the word 'strength' underneath the paint and ink. It peeks through in some spots.
