This is a colored pencil drawing of my favorite flower. The blossom is delicate yet tough, resilient. It starts as a seed in the murky depths of the water, deep in the mud. Yet it pushes itself through the mud, and whatever debris is present, to the surface of the water to blossom into this beautiful, multi-petaled flower! Now that is my kind of flower!!
