This painting was done en plein air. I spent a long time searching for the right view for my artwork but couldn't find it. There was an abundance of cottonwood fluff on Trukhanov Island that kept getting into my eyes and nose without permission. I ventured a bit deeper into the island, only to be greeted by swarms of mosquitoes. Disheartened, I made my way along the pedestrian bridge, constantly brushing off the cottonwood fluff from my face. After crossing to the other bank, I sat down to rest on the embankment—and there, I witnessed the most exquisite hues of a pearlescent sunset. I quickly started painting, as twilight fades away so swiftly...

This is an oil painting on cardboard measuring 24x30cm, or 10"x12"

The painting is sold unframed.
