Original artwork description:

This little painting in blocky acrylics shows a baby elephant and its mother standing protectively close, as they emerge from the trees. Somewhat impressionistic, it evokes the atmosphere of tenderness between them, whilst being quite contemporary and minimalist in colour range. The reddish grey shadows contrast with the rich greenery of the forest background.

Painted on a box canvas, with sides a dark tone to match the shadows in the painting, this piece is ready to hang without a frame.
