Artist's description:

This is an original hand-carved print, actually carved from thin vinyl, as opposed to traditional linoluem, based on the strange 'Pink elephants on Parade' sequence of Disney's 'Dumbo'. In the sequence a bottle of booze falls into a water bucket, which Dumbo and Timothy Mouse unwittingly drink. They both in turn get drunk and Dumbo bizarrely begins blowing bubbles from his trunk, then a bubble takes on elephant form and so begins the trippy sequence. This work shows the elephants all blowing their trumpets with small and large bubbles surrounding. The meaning of the famous Disney sequence has always been unclear and shrouded in mystery. The artwork brings into focus and is a meditation on this mystery, as well as a celebration of the genius of Walt Disney.

This is a limited edition linocut, printed on beautiful 285gsm Fabriano Rosapina Avorio printmaking paper.

Your print will come wrapped in protective tissue paper to reach you in the best condition.
