Artwork description:
The inspiration for my latest linocut print was yet another second hand shop find, this time a splendid vintage ceramic bowl with a raised pattern of elephants dancing round the middle. I knew at once it would make a fab linocut… and so it has! The spotted tablecloth is my very own dining table covering. It is a two block linocut and I used a rainbow roll to give the gradated background colours.
Materials used:
Lino printed on Japanese Similie paper using water washable inks
