Original artwork description:

This Acrylic Paint and Ink on High Quality 300 gsm Paper mixed-media painting was done from life in the very beautiful location of Edinburgh, Scotland, U.K. This piece was started in Edinburgh from our hotel room in the Apex Hotel that faced the castle, and was completed from photos in Taipei City, Taiwan. It was started on a rainy overcast day as the sun was trying to come out and was illuminating the buildings in the foreground. It was originally drawn out in Ink and I only intended to add paint to it, but whilst painting I decided to add more Ink over the paint to give it more detail and hatched shading. I like how the hatched Ink adds shape and weight to the rock defences leading up to the castle.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
