A small oil sketch from Edale in the Peak District. There's so much to delight the eye in the Derbyshire Peak District. I could paint a thousand pictures and there never would be two the same.
What inspires me is the distant hills, the way they change colour the further away they get, and the wide open sky. But above all I love the sense of freedom.
This painting is an oil painting on canvas paper in a pale ivory mount.
The tones are rich earthy colours.
Shipped safely in a reinforced envelope.
