Artwork description:

New series of Petrus prints based from the foundation set by collected soil samples except these are taken from watercolour and colour pencil studies exploring the use of colour in symbolic form to represent the movement of feeling through the space.

In this image I have used water-based printing ink to represent the colours of:
White (Original Purity), Orange (Vitality), Brown (Nature), Blue (Calm) and Green (New Beginnings) with a line of Yellow in Oil Paint & Medium to represent Hope from a walked journey or pilgrimage, laid on top of all of the previous colours - symbolic of our oil age (petrol, plastics, diesel, industry) seeking hope away from the ecological/ conflict disasters we contribute, believing through an act of walking (pilgrimage, walking, protesting, moving from one place to another) we can seek solutions from the current problems and begin anew in a new place.
