What happens that after many years of realistic painting an artist begins to see and feel the universe abstractly? What makes that form becomes formless and colour no longer mimics nature? I am surprised by the vehemence of questions that arise so suddenly and so clearly in a multitude of other thoughts. I do not know the answers, but their mere appearance is close to some unknown to me ecstasy, premonition of something beyond understanding, beyond the skills what becomes a pure intuition, that what we call so often inspiration, in fact not really knowing what we say.
This artwork is painted on canvas stretched on wooden frame. I was using professional grade acrylics with premium quality colour pigments that have high resistance to fading. The lights and shadows are obtained by superposing many layers of paint which is my own way to create moods and feelings. This technique is unique for myself. The painting is finished with two coats of mat varnish to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust and also enhances the intensity and luminosity of colours. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame. The picture is ready for wall mounting.
I have signed the artwork on the side and titled it on the back.
I have great experience with all preparation needed to guarantee you the fast and save shipment of your artwork.
