Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features a clearing in the woods with a cluster of blossoming rhododendron shrubs. The flower colors include pink, purple, magenta, and white. The blossom shapes are enhanced with thickly applied paint. The blossoms are set off by the earth tones of the early spring tree branches, which are mostly still bare, some just touched with light green spring foliage. Behind the rhododendrons, the landscape is also shot through with the deeper green of two evergreen trees. Painted in oil on canvas. Framed in a 2.5" wide ornate frame with an antique gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
