Original artwork description:

Another addition to the series "Hebrides In Another Light". Here the light is fading, the sky has become a beautiful shade of gray with a hint of lilac emphasizing the white of the cottage and the brilliant red roof. The composition is continued on the edges allowing the painting to be hung without framing if so desired. Due to it's wide profile it can also be set to stand on a surface such as a shelf.

Materials used:

stretched canvas, acrylic paint
