“Dudu” is an oil on linen portrait which I painted in 2015. It is part of a series of artworks which I made while I was looking to find my personal style in portraiture. The artwork is very detailed; the background is painted in a scale of blue to make the model stand out. “Dudu” posed for the painting in his living room: the photographs on the wall and the details in the background give to this painting a warm and familiar touch.
