I tend to connect with the concept of Buddhism. The removing of ego, emptying out a mind that races and overwhelms itself. So I often go back to images of Buddhist monks...just because I love painting the robes...the folds, the union.
This is a cutout of a painting on watercolor paper, then fixed to board with linen paper under.
