Downtown Los Angeles comes to life at night. As the factory districts shut down, high-rise apartments, skyscrapers, and all sorts of night-life flash on. “Downtown LA…” looks north from the warehouse district towards the skyscrapers of central Los Angeles. There’s a story behind every one of the thousands of glowing windows.

Greater LA provides endless inspiration for my oil paintings. I constantly challenge myself to observe my surroundings with fresh eyes and in a new light: neighborhoods, business districts, rush hours, parks, people, skies, landscapes—everything that makes LA unique. My artistic language is expressed through intense color, deep contrast and broad brushstrokes. I paint in many layers, always trying to invent new colors. Through my paintings, I express wonder in the constantly changing world—rich in vibrant color, life and beauty.
