Artwork description:
This print is a sister to 'down the line 1' and was worked up from a drawing made the same day. It would seem that not many people walk very far these days. Beyond about 400 yards from where the car might be parked, most paths narrow, the trees cross and undergrowth pushes forth on all sides. But I always think the best is still to come and like to carry on until it rains. The exuberance of Spring is such a joy and its' invasive ways only add to the delight.
