Original artwork description:

A wonderfully crooked stile on Buckham Down in West Dorset. It's turned up in a number of paintings. It overlooks a great view over Beaminster towards Bridport and the Channel. Ahead there is the ash tree in the hedge and the crest of the Down. It was jumping down from this stile that aggravated the arthritis in my knee.

Resuming painting both landscapes and in oils I am taking my inspration from the Dorset countryside around the family home in Beaminster, though I am actually painting them in my studio in London.
