This work was inspired by the Aldous Huxley's work of the same name. In it he catalogues his experiments with the drug Mescaline, similar to LCD. He was constantly looking to the drug to enhance his perception an gain new insights into the universe. I ma not convinced that he achieved this. At one point he spends an entire afternoon staring at a bamboo chair, thinking it held the answer to everything!
