Original artwork description:

Acrylic on canvas
Size: 18.2x24.6 in. (46x62 cm.)

My painting depicts a semi-abstract seated male figure with his head looking down and an arm resting on one knee. The colors used, such as warm reds, orange, yellow and white, add an emotional depth to the piece. The title itself "Doleful", suggests a feeling of sadness and introspection.
The figure in my painting represents a reflection of the human condition, inspired by the complexity of emotions that arise when one is confronted with the transient nature of existence.

Materials used:

Acrylic on canvas
