Gabriel says he was making some shingles when a deer approached his campsite. On closer inspection it turned out the deer had once been a tree - and one could still see the old flora's rings. While the creature seemed to have lost its fur, or perhaps never had any, it did have some lovely golden and sparkly bits. And just as quickly it had arrived, it hopped back into the forest.
