Sometimes it pays to get going early. Apart from the amazing light, you are more likly to catch a sight of our local fauna when it is quieter.
Deer are common in our woods but they are shy creatures and good at concealing themselves so spotting them is a treat. My imagination is sparked by these sightings
and I start thinking of their existence, and seeing them in my mind roaming through the woods in the early morning. This painting is a result of these imaginings.
