Artist's description:

The geometric curvatures of this illustration, expose a figure evolving. Her head, inclined in a dreaming, sleeping innocence, acts like an embryo in the womb. An entity, who is yet to become an independent being, on the threshold of self-consciousness. In this sense, ancient mother-cults are blended with an “immaculate conception” from antiquity. Out of the abstract curves, which can be interpretive of the double-helix structure - DNA, gradually more complex life forms evolve. The artist succeeds using mythical input to illustrate the concept of simplification.
