Original artwork description:

December 1st refers to the date that I arrived in Newfoundland to take part in the Pouch Cove Foundation residency. The startling, rugged view settled into my subconscious in a way that has taken me a year and a half to begin understanding. The painting is therefor not a portrait or illustration of the place, but an emotional reflection.

Materials used:

Oil and wax on wood
