PAINTED OBJECT – CUBE ART | DANCING WITH THE WOLVES
Hand-painted wooden cube “Dancing with the Wolves”, a multidimensional sculpture. Originally has been created for a collective show curated by Tucson, US-based Baker + Hesseldenz Studio. Invited artists have been sent a plain wooden cube to be customized especially for this collective exhibition. This multidimensional object can be observed from all six sides and from many different angles, every single angle shows a continuous vibrant flow of the drawing/painting that is forming different compositions depending on the viewers’ perspective.“Dancing with the Wolves” is dealing with a ritual, dance, movement, and flow. Eternal play between good and bad, man (wolf) and woman, between light and darkness, between love and temptation. I had an intention to create this perpetual never-ending organic story that’s flowing on all sides of the cube, old as its humanity itself, evoking certain archetypes presented in a very contemporary context.
