Original artwork description:

This unique artwork is inspired by the wondrous colours of tropical waters of the Caribbean. A life-long fascination with the ocean and travel makes far-away islands top of my list, with the opportunity to create paintings of these special adventures! One of a series of more abstract artworks, this painting explores my response to the light dancing on the water's surface with the movement and flow of the sea, capturing the essence of this ever-changing environment.

Creating many studies and sketches of the ocean and waves, the technique I have developed is to tear pieces from some of these paintings, then re-work over the watercolour studies with pen and other media to achieve a sense of motion or a feeling. Executed on high quality watercolour paper and using Winsor and Newton watercolour washes in an expressive and gestural way to create depth and vibrancy.

The perfect gift for someone special or for yourself! This painting is unique and highly collectable, offering the opportunity to buy original art at an affordable price. This painting is from my Ocean Collection for sale on-line EXCLUSIVELY on Artfinder.

Image size is 5.5 x 7.25 inches. The painting is professionally surface mounted on soft white mount board and custom framed with contemporary limed softwood box frame with spacers and glass front so the artwork is set back from the glass. The artwork is READY TO HANG. The painting is signed on both the front and the back.

Upon purchase, your special painting will be carefully packaged with protective corners over the frame edges, then sandwiched between cardboard and packaged with lots of bubble wrap and waterproof bag, then lovingly packaged in a cardboard box specially designed for packaging paintings and sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed next day delivery) with tracking and insurance.
