A few years ago a friend invited me to go with her to an iris farm not far from where we live. The irises were in full bloom and the property was very beautiful out in the country. I chose several irises and they dug them up for me to take back to my yard and plant. This painting is of the iris farm and I particularly liked the shape of the tree that overlooked part of the garden.
