Artwork description:

Craig Goch is the top dam in a series of four in the beautiful Elan Valley. The reservoirs were built at the turn of the 20th century to supply water to Birmingham. This print shows the water overtopping the dam after a period of rain.

It forms part of a series depicting landscapes, structures & buildings in the style in of a 1960s travel poster. The key design element in these prints is the extreme reduction of detail - reducing the subject to simple shapes and solid blocks of colour.
