This sculpture, with its contrasting rough and smooth areas, illustrates the erosion of natural resources, inspired by the gradual change through the centuries of the world around us; whether by physical elements of sea and weathering, or as natural resources being eroded and utilised in our modern day world. This sculpture was hand-carved from Polyphant stone.
