In this original acrylic and oil creation on a large 60" x 60" canvas, I aimed to capture the raw essence of introspection through a semi-abstract approach. The two figures appear to be deeply contemplating a large painting, possibly a Rothko. The boldness of the different red hues and layers of nuance, engulf the canvas, immersing the two viewers into the painting, symbolizing depth of emotion. Like the two figures, we become immersed in the redness. The two figures are mere whispers amidst the vibrancy, inviting viewers to ponder interpersonal connections and their emotions. This piece will radiate warmth and provoke thought, becoming a mesmerizing focal point for any space. A real showstopper!
The palette consists largely of many different hues of red, as well as charcoal, light gray, pink and tan. 1.5" edge is painted matte white.
