A bit quirky. I saw the shadow of the tree as a last resistance against the march of progress, the industrial pipes like the phalanx of a medieval army, about to move forward & crush resistance.
Technically, a red ground with multicoloured splashes in the foreground, worked over with yellow ochre & Prussian blue. I liked the rhythm of the ovals, painted with knife & brush.
