Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by an unusually hot and sultry day in the Lake District. I was on a hike around Ullswater and loved the warmth of the colours. This is my interpretation of the expressive qualities of the colour that the heat created.

With pencils in hand I made a few quick sketches and notes.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Colourful Heat is a framed (white grained wood)original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
