'Colony' by Keiichiro features a striking arrangement of flowers set within blocks of ice, resembling a vase. Through this art, Keiichiro delves into the concepts of impermanence and transience found in both nature and life. The flowers serve as symbols of fleeting beauty, representing existence's ephemeral nature, susceptible to alteration and deterioration. The juxtaposition of the fragile flowers and the ever-changing state of the ice encourages viewers to ponder the delicate equilibrium between stability and impermanence, highlighting the diverse essence inherent in all living beings.

Pigment inkjet print applies a plaster coating solution to Japanese paper. The result is a natural and deep image quality that is full of life. The plaster provides a high degree of preservation.

The surface of each print is sprayed with a varnish to protect it from UV rays.

The print will have a border of approximately 3.0 cm.

A certificate of authenticity is included.
