I live by the beach and love the beach! It is of course utterly inspirational and a lot of works originate there, ideas, and just looking at a vast expanse of water settles the mind.
In this mixed media, watercolor and colored pencil with ink, I have tried to capture that, the rowdiness of a beach that is still utter tranquillity.

The birds are ever present, the waves, the colors, the jellyfish and small minnows, I hope you can almost smell it.
This piece measures 35 cm x 50 cm (14" x 20") and is painted on a piece of bright white heavy weight watercolor paper.
I have signed it on the front, and called it "Coastal" so you can hear the waves.
