These paintings take forms from water, clouds and mist - rolling movement and delicate brushwork swirl over the canvas.

Cloudbusting is about rewriting our narratives, gently, we are so often swept up into the narratives of the headlines, and the ideas of others and our own fears that we forget that we have a choice on where we place our attention.

The painting has a gentle dynamism, like a dance to shake the darkness away. From within and behind the rolling brushwork a light bright orange form emanates like sunlight from the clouds.

The title comes from the song by Kate Bush - The artist often finds that titles come into mind as she paints, and these lyrics were part of the inspiration.
