Artwork description:

a linocut reduction is always made in a predetermined edition, in this case 8 prints. As all prints are rolled up in color by hand, for each and every print, and taken through the press for each layer, there can be small differences between the prints, I hope you will cherish this as part of the handmade process.
The reduction process means I start with cutting away the areas I want to remain white, add the first color, and then cut away the areas I want to remain in that color (making a "hole" with my knives so it can't be rolled really) and so on until the print is finished.
I just love the color combination of blue and brown/beige, so it had to be that for this kind of self portrait.

This print measures 30 x 38 cm (12" x 15") and the
actual printed area measures 21 x 30 cm ( 8" x 12")
I have singed and numbered it on the front, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.

I ship from my lovely studio in the south of Denmark with many years experience in packing my art so it arrives safely, see my over 900 reviews.
Thanks for looking, and welcome back, Mariann
