Unique painting of Etretat, Normandy, France, a popular area frequented by French masters including Delacroix, Boudin, Courbet, Monet and Matisse. Monet has painted at least twenty paintings of Etretat.
The painting was executed masterfully using layers of transparent colors and glazing techniques to produce a translucent effect.
