GICLÉE PRINTS: 35x26cm (88%) image on PermaJet FB Gold Silk 315 (A3, 42x30cm) paper using Epson UltraChrome HD inks.
Rich in colour, detail and depth, this work is part of a series of paintings celebrating the architecture and atmosphere of the London Underground.
Clapham North is one of only two stations on the Northern line to retain a central island, and this work takes a characteristically low, rat's-eye view along this now-unusual type of platform.
In many of these works, Rebecca repurposes the advertising hoardings to create paintings-within-a-painting. Here, alongside some of Rebecca's trademark playful rats, you can spot Picasso's Woman's Head: a stolen painting recovered by police during the creation of this work.
